You may know by now that Feminine Human Design™ emphasizes the feminine aspects that are already in the basic Human Design chart, but did you know there are also other specific feminine “archetypes” that we can learn from?
One of the most ignored (but also most accessible) archetypes that we like to look at, especially during the Autumn and Winter months, is the Dark Feminine.
In a basic Human Design chart, we can look to the moon, the earth, and Venus for insight into some feminine archetypal influences, and we can even find out what the shadow frequencies of those planets and their Gates mean. But if you really want to uncover and integrate your dark feminine, there are several other places you can look to in the chart.
One of the easiest ways to find out what the Dark Feminine might mean to you right now is through Lilith.
Lilith in your Human Design
First, go here and get your Human Design chart with Lilith in it.
Once you have your chart, notice where Lilith is located. Here’s an example, where you’ll see the two Lilith Gates circled at the bottom:
Next, you’ll want to understand a bit more about Lilith so you can determine how she influences your Human Design.
Black Moon Lilith is one of the quintessential dark feminine archetypes.
She represents the darker, more shadowy aspects of the moon because she’s the locational point in the sky that is the furthest point in the moon’s orbit to Earth.
While the moon represents a more gentle emotional energy, Black Moon Lilith represents the repressed parts of ourselves that we often fail to recognize—like sacred rage.
In ancient Mesopotamian and Jewish mythology, Lilith was Adam’s first wife in the Garden of Eden, created equally from the dust of the Earth, next to Adam.
When Lilith refused to submit to Adam (because she understood that she was his equal), it’s said that either he banned her from the Garden of Eden or that she fled to gain her independence when he tried to assert his dominance over her.
Lilith lived out the rest of her life in rageful solitude, in caves, and bared her own children.
She is seen as either a symbol of sacred rage for the rejection she endured for being an independent woman or she is seen as an icon.
Perhaps I like to see her as both…because just as the moon has many sides, so do we.
In the chart example above, Lilith happens to be in the Gate 2, which also happens to be the archetype of the Feminine.
Where is she in your Human Design?
This is just one of the ways to find the many feminine archetypes in the Human Design chart. With my Chiron being in the Gate 2, I created Feminine Human Design™ in 2017 as a healing contribution to the Feminine.
