Human Design Body Mapping + Journal Prompts
Welcome to your Body Mapping exercise.
This is a part of the Human Design of the Body series, which is all about calling your attention in, getting to know your body, and your own personal rhythms--for whole body-mind-soul wellbeing.
First, let's start here:
1. Take out a pen and a journal.
2. Take a deep breath, put one hand your on your heart and the other on your belly.
3. Exhale and check in with yourself. And then...
4. Write down the answers (or whatever comes up) to the following journal prompts.
⊹ How am I feeling?
⊹ What do I need?
⊹ What is my energy like right now? How much energy do I have?
⊹ What is my Human Design energy type? Do I resonate with the descriptions of my type? How does it FEEL in my body to be this type?
⊹ Does my energy type require that I rest more often (ex. Projectors, Manifestors, and Reflectors often need more rest).
⊹ What season am I in right now (this could be your season in life or your menstrual cycle season -- there is no wrong answer).
⊹ What is Mama Earth doing where I am right now? (ex. Is she coming alive with Spring?)
⊹ What would feel really good for me to do so that my body will feel in sync with Earth's rhythms and be in flow with nature (and not in resistance to the flow)?
Next, listen to your Body Mapping Meditation to feel and sense the energy points that correlate with the energy in your Human Design BodyGraph.
⊹ Find a place to lie down - preferably on the floor or on a mat - so you're able to feel the support and feedback from the Earth while you go through the 64 points. Then...
Listen.
Sense.
FEEL.
Be in your body.
Afterwards, if you'd like to do a free write in your journal after you finish the Body Mapping, go ahead and do that.
